"It's pretty sad. The Polyclinic used to be such a great place for care. It still has some good providers, but overall quality of facility has plummeted."

"Have been a patient for 40 + years. Polyclinic has slide down hill in last three years. Providers gone about the time you develop a working relationship. Very long wait times on the phone to get assistance with care. I have taken my needs else where."

"I have been a patient and used the many services of the Polyclinc over the last few years. The organization and level of care has change in many negative ways over the last couple of years. The place has become a revolving door of providers. About the time you develp a relationship with a provide(couple of years) the provider leaves of is driven out. I have taken my health care needs to another ..."

"There is very little communication between departments, no customer service, and no way to get accurate information. Three of my doctors left. I was due for blood tests and called to see if the one ordered by my previous doctor would be honored. Since my new doctor was in the system I was informed the lab would do the tests. I received a message from PoliClinic reminding me to have my blood drawn ..."

"My wife had surgery with Dr. Thomas Byrnes. She was experiencing pain so she called the doctors office. They told her they were sending a painmedicine prescription to our pharmacy. The prescription required pre approval. so it could not be filled. They never corrected the prescription and after two days of unbearable paintheir excuse is it takes 2 hours of holding on the phone for them to give ..."

"This used to be a wonderful practice-- when it was owned by the practitioners. Now it's owned by a private equity/corporation called Optum. Many of the seasoned docs have left and the vibe is very different. They now have a "call center" which feels similar to trying to reach Comcast or Centurylink. "

  • December 3, 2023

"This clinic has the rudest front desk/representatives with the worst attitude. I hate to make a phone call because I know I will have a bad experience."

  • November 30, 2023

"I have been a patient at Polyclinic for over 20 years. My endocrinologist left the practice and I was told no other endocrinologists are accepting new patients. Last week I found out that they are not accepting my insurance anymore. Corporate America big health care is making it impossible for low income people to get care. "

  • November 8, 2023
"Our family were patients at Polyclinic (originally Seattle Family Medicine) for over 30 years. After SFM sold out to Polyclinic, and then the pandemic, they have had a near constant turnover of doctors. We would have a new Dr for a few months, only to receive a letter "I'm leaving Polyclinic". Making contact for billing questions has become impossible. Corporate America has ruined a good thing. We ..."

"I have been a patient here for over 15 years and being a patient here has become IMPOSSIBLE. You can barely even speak to a human on the phone. My endocrinologiest left the practice and they were unwilling to transfer me to any of the other providers because they are "understaffed" after 15 years as a patient in their department. "
